Job description

Aya Locums is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) with strong emergency or urgent care experience for a 3-month assignment (option to extend) in North Central Florida. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident provider who thrives in high-acuity urgent care and is comfortable working independently.

Assignment Details
-Start Date: As soon as credentialed
-Contract Length: 3 months with option to extend
-Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Only
-Shift Details: 12-hour shifts
-Schedule: 3x12s + every other Saturday

Work Details
-Support Staff: MAs, X-ray tech, front desk staff, splinting support; access to PA owner and Medical Director
-Coverage Needed: 12 shifts per month + holiday coverage
-Patients per Day: 35–40 currently, with winter peak up to 65–70 (higher acuity mix)
-Patient Population: Pediatrics through geriatrics (majority 50+)
-Provider must be fully independent: interpreting own X-rays, labs, and EKGs
-EMR: Codonix

Requirements
-Board Certification: Required
-License: Active FL license
-Certifications: BLS
-Experience: Minimum 1 year ER experience
