Facility in Springfield, MA seeking PA-c EM locums coverage Rates: $120/hr Position Details Start Date: ASAP – June 2025 Schedule: Flexible ongoing shifts Setting: Emergency Department Beds: 44-bed ED EMR: Epic Team: Always 2 physicians on shift; fast track staffed by APPs Supervision: Supervising physician always onsite APP Autonomy: Yes Support Services Available 24/7: Radiology (CT, MRI, X-Ray), OR, Lab, Anesthesia, Blood Bank (AABB certified) Clinical Environment Annual ED Volume: Approx. 55,000 Fast Track Volume: ~40% of total ED volume Daily Transfers: Minimal (1–2 per day) Referral Center: Saint Francis (STF) Call Response Time: 30 minutes or less per hospital bylaws Hospital Admissions from ED: 15% Requirements Board Certified PA – Required Massachusetts State License – Required BLS/ACLS – Required Minimum Experience: No new grads
