Provider Locum for EM Physician Assistant in (multi-city) Pennsylvania (PA).

Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting an experienced Emergency Medicine PA Locum [Part-time/Locals Only] to work coverage in Altoona & Everett, Pennsylvania. Starting, as soon as credentialed.

The role of Emergency Medicine PA:
Setting: Outpatient/Clinic
Availability [all locations]: Primarily Night Coverage Only (7p-7a). 4-6 shifts per month.
Schedule: M-S | 7a-7p; 9a-9p; 7p-7a | Anticipated start: 11/3/2025
Must: perform – triage/tech responsibilities. EMR: Cerner
Census: Variety of ED patients mixed with lower acuity. 80% AD, 20% PEDS
Experience: Emergency Department.
[Altoona] – multi-site credentialing: 2-locations [Altoona + Bedford – Stroke Certified Facilities]

Requirements of Emergency Medicine PA Locum [both locations]:
Pennsylvania Medical License (in-hand)
Board Certified – Emergency Medicine PA
Certifications Required: ACLS; BLS; CPR; PALS [must be AHA]; Stroke Certified, CMEs, (NIHSS)
Mandatory: Annual EMTALA education – from ED Admin.
Minimum experience: 2 years
