ABFM / ABIM MD Emergency Medicine need in Alabama

Job description

• Support staff: Typical of large hospital system
• Schedule Details: Candidates must be willing to work 12-hour shifts. All 4 sites are 24hr physician coverage. 2 shifts of 12hrs

Start Date: ASAP or as soon as credentialed
Contract length: 3 months with option for extension

Work Details:
• Facility Type: 4 hospitals all trauma level 3
• EMR/Charting Software: EPIC
• Vaccines Mandatory?:
• Avg. Daily Census: ranges from 17k-20k annually
• Beds: ranges from 14-33
• Procedures: Providers will run codes on floor

Requirements:
• Board Certifications Req’d/Preferred: Must be Board Certified or board eligible. Accepts ABFM or ABIM
• State License(s): AL required
• Certifications: Non-EM boarded candidates must have significant ED experience – AND – have current ACLS, PALS, ATLS (it must be indicated in presentation or on CV that they are current).

Credentialing Timeframe: 90-120 days
