Locum Emergency Med Physician – Will license with IMLC- FL license

We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Nocturnist to provide locum tenens coverage in Panama City, FL.

This is an excellent opportunity for a physician seeking consistent night coverage in a high-acuity, community-focused environment. Coverage is needed beginning February 16, 2026, and ongoing.

Job Details:
Setting: Acute Care Hospital
Location: Panama City, FL
Schedule: Full-time; Night shifts only (12-hour shifts: 8:00 PM–6:00 AM, plus occasional 4:00 PM–2:00 AM or 12:00 PM–10:00 PM); No call
Additional Coverage: 4–5 physician shifts per day with 5–6 APP shifts; strong specialty support; pediatric coverage 12 hours/day
Patient Volume: Approx. 155 patients/day in ED; admit rate 20%

Practice Details:
No residents
Mix of acuity
Provider must be willing to work at affiliated freestanding EDs


Orientation: Includes 2-hour onboarding and two shadow shifts


Requirements:
Board Certification: Emergency Medicine required (facility will accept IM/FM with EM experience)
State License: Florida license required (IMLC accepted; willing to license)
Certifications: ACLS and PALS
Experience: Prior hospital-based Emergency Medicine experience preferred
