Locums Emergency Medicine Needed - Indiana - 5x12

Job description

We are currently seeking a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum tenens assignment starting as early as November 2025, with booking through 2026.

This opportunity offers lucrative compensation, along with paid travel, lodging, and flexibility across multiple sites.

Position Overview

Start Date: ASAP (November 2025 preferred)
Contract Length: 3 months with the option to extend
Shift: 7 AM – 7 PM
Schedule Flexibility:
Must be open to days, nights, and weekends
Willingness to work at main hospital and affiliated Free-Standing ERs (FSERs) preferred

Annual ED Volume: ~24,000 visits
Trauma Level: III
ED Beds: 17 private rooms
Coverage:
Physician: 24-hour coverage (12-hour shifts)
APPs: 20 hours/day (9- & 11-hour shifts)
Support Services:
On-site ultrasound
Accredited Chest Pain Center
EMR: Meditech
Practice Setting
Facility Type: Hospital
Environment: Fast-paced, team-oriented emergency department

Requirements
Board Certification: Required – Must be ABEM or AOBEM certified
License: Active Indiana (IN) medical license required
DEA: Must have an active DEA license
