Job description

Aya Locums is seeking an emergency medicine physician in Owensboro, KY for 8 hour shifts at a Level 3 trauma hospital.

• Start Date: 6/2/25
• Coverage needed per month: 60 shifts per month available to pick from
• Schedule Details: Doctor shift times: 5a-2p, 6a-3p, 12p-9p, 2p-11p, 5p-3a, 9p-6a
• Support staff: 7 doctors, 4 APCs
• Patient Volume: 164 in a 24hr period
• EMR: EPIC
• Special Unit Details: Level 3 trauma center with 27 regular rooms, 3 BH rooms, 2 trauma rooms, 12 fast track rooms. Primary stroke center.
Requirements:
• Board Certifications: BC in Emergency Medicine
• State License(s) / IMLC Req’d?: KY license required
• Certifications Req’d?: ACLS
• DEA Req’d?: Yes
• Minimum Experience Req’d: 2 years minimum experience in ER
• Are vaccines mandatory?: No
• Privileging Timeframe: 30 days
