A high-volume regional hospital in Owensboro, KY is seeking emergency medicine physicians for locum tenens coverage. Board certification in Family Medicine and a KY (or IMLC) medical license are required. Must have at least 2 years of ER experience. The facility uses EPIC EMR and maintains 24/7 specialty support. Shift times vary across day, swing, and night, and there is no call required. Malpractice, travel, lodging, and rental car are fully covered.

About the clinician's workday

Choose from 60 open shifts per month across various times:
• 5a-2p, 6a-3p, 12p-9p, 2p-11p, 5p-3a, 9p-6a
You’ll join a team of 7 physicians and 4 APCs in a department that treats all ages and manages most cases in-house.

• Case load/PPD: 164 patients per 24 hours
• Support staff: 7 MDs, 4 APCs per day
