🩺 Emergency Medicine Physician – Low-Admit, High-Support Role in Eastern Louisiana

Location: Eastern Louisiana
Position Type: Locum Tenens / Contract
Shift Length: 24-Hour Shifts
Start Date: As soon as credentialed

This role features minimal admitting, on-site lodging, and a smooth onboarding process – all in a community-centered facility where your impact is immediate.

📋 Key Details

Board Certified in:

Emergency Medicine

Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with recent ER experience

Certifications Required: ATLS, ACLS, PALS

Procedural Competence: Must be able to perform central lines and intubations

Patient Volume: ~39 patients per 24-hour shift

Admitting: Very little to none

EMR: CMR

APP Support: Provided for first 12 hours of each shift during peak volume

Orientation: You’ll be paired with the Medical Director on your first day
