Job description

We’re seeking a dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician for a high-volume facility in Augusta, Maine. This is a locum tenens opportunity with flexible scheduling and immediate start potential.

Shift Times: 9-hour shifts; schedule varies:

9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
2:00 PM – 11:00 PM
11:00 PM – 8:00 AM


Monthly Commitment: Average of 7–10 shifts/month preferred; will consider 5-7 shifts/month
Annual Volume: 55,000
Start Date: ASAP
Licensure: ME license preferred or IMLC LOQ
Candidate Preference: Local or New England-based highly preferred
Credentialing: 8–10 weeks; clean files may be expedited
EMR: Sunrise
