We are seeking a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician (or FM/IM with recent ED experience) for an urgent locum assignment in Bay City, MI, covering a recruitment gap. This opportunity offers flexible shifts, no call, and a comprehensive benefits package for travel and lodging.

📋 Assignment Details
Shifts: 9 or 10 hours standard; 12-hour shifts available upon request, NO Call
Patients per Day: Approx. 80 total; 1.8 patients/hr for physicians
Support: APP coverage for 12 hrs, full ED nursing & tech team, full lab & radiology
EMR: Cerner

🏥 Procedures & Skills Required: Includes but not limited to:
Adult and pediatric outpatient care
Suturing, I&D, splinting, fracture care
Central/arterial lines, lumbar puncture, paracentesis, arthrocentesis
Ventilation management, psych evaluation (uncomplicated), trauma stabilization
EKG interpretation, emergency airway and fluid management

💼 Compensation & Benefits
Standard Hourly Rate: $310/hour (negotiable)
Holidays & Overtime: 1.5x standard hourly
Travel: Mileage or rental car + lodging
Malpractice: Included

✅ Requirements
Board Certification (ABEM/AOBEM preferred) – IM/FM with 2+ years recent ED experience accepted
Active Michigan License
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
Local Providers Only
