The facility operates a 30-bed ED within a 330-bed hospital, averaging 15–20 patients per shift with strong admission and acuity rates. This Level 3 Trauma Center offers 24/7 access to key specialties and backup, ensuring comprehensive support without overwhelming volume.

The ED is physician-led—always staffed with one doc on-site—and APP coverage varies by time of day. While scribe coverage is not provided, the facility uses Allscripts EMR and allows for temp privileges after file completion, streamlining onboarding.

Physicians can select from a variety of shift times:
• 7a–3p
• 2p–11p
• 10p–7a

APPs are supervised by a Director and scheduled during overlapping times for added flexibility. Most shifts include coverage by 0–2 APPs depending on time and volume.
