Orientation: 11/16/2024
Dates needed: 11/17/2024 – 11/26/2024

Work Details:
• Support staff: RN as well as specialty backup; hospitalist, cardiology, neurology, general surgery, neuro, ENT, trauma surgery, peds, radiology, anesthesiology, etc.
• Amount of coverage needed per month: 10 days for the month of November, with potential future dates
• Patients per day: 1 – 2 patients are seen in the double covered ED each hour with an annual volume of 30,000.
• Patient population/age: All
• EMR: Cerner
• Special procedures: EM physicians do not run codes outside the ER, and they will not admit patients or have other duties outside the ER, but they will write basic holding orders to allow for the patient to be moved to the floor, the admitting physician takes responsibility once the patient leaves the ER.

Practice Setting:
• Hospital - Level II Trauma

Requirements:
• Board Certification: ABEM
• State license required: Yes. Will also take IMLC.
• DEA: Yes
• CSR: No
• Certifications required: ACLS, ATLS, PALS
1-2 years exp preferred
