Emergency Physician in Dorado, Puerto Rico

We are currently searching for a Board Certified - Emergency Medicine Physician to join our Elite Medical Group team. This role will be a collaboration between Elite Medical Group and the Doctors’ Center Hospital Orlando Health (DCHOH) in Dorado, Puerto Rico. In this role, you will provide exceptional care to a unique population of member-patients. This will include coordinating care with DCHOH, experts on the mainland and interfacing with air ambulance medevac operations. The practice will provide members with 24/7/365 access to care, telemedicine and will not be reliant on insurance. We provide a competitive compensation package $300 - $400K based on experience, relocation and/or housing assistance for the right candidate, and an exclusive club membership among other perks.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide direct care to patients
• Perform examinations and diagnostic tests to assess the patient’s condition
• Provide acute care to patients as needed
• Participate in the development and ongoing improvement of protocols and systems processes to facilitate high-quality delivery of clinical concierge services
• Comply with required CME activities and other regulatory requirements to maintain licensure
• Coordinate medical evacuations to the mainland US

QUALIFICATIONS
• Physician in good standing (MD or DO degree)
• Active United States medical license (Puerto Rico license a plus but not required)
• Board certified in Emergency Medicine
• Creative problem solver and “out of the box” thinker
• Innovator and interested in alternatives to traditional medical delivery models
• Comfortable using communications technology
• “Team player” skills essential
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule
• Entrepreneurial interests will be helpful as the practice ramps
