EST LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT 1 year
PROVIDERS NEEDED Need of 8 full time docs across the Good Shepherd system
MINIMUM # of SHIFTS ACCEPTABLE 5
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS - Will accept ABEM, AOBEM, ABFM, ABIM, ABPS or other BCs? FNP – ANCC, AANP or other BCs? Kilgore will accept ABEM or ABFM/ABIM docs w/ ED experience. The rest of the Good Shepherd system will only accept ABEM. The Good Shepherd system is a total of 5 facilities: Longview, NorthPark, Kilgore, Marshall, and Henderson (new build) will soon open in Aug 2025. The hospital will allow locums to work at Kilgore and Marshall ONLY at this time.
Will the facility accept alternative boards? ABPS? No
RESIDENCY TRAINED REQUIREMENTS Kilgore will take EM residency trained docs and IM/FM trained docs w/ ED experience. Marshall will accept EM residency trained docs only.
ATLS, ACLS, PALS, BALS Required? ATLS, ACLS, and PALS required for non ABEM docs. If ABEM, then it’s not required.
STAFFING MODEL MDDO Kilgore has 24 hours of MD coverage daily
STAFFING MODEL NPPA 8 hours of NPPA on Mon only
PHYSICIAN SHIFT TIMES 7a-7p & 7p-7a
