Locums Emergency Medicine Physician Needed in Texas

Job description

Contract Length: 3 months, ongoing
Schedule: FT coverage needed but will consider ongoing PT. Must offer/work at least 5 shifts/month. Monday: 7a-4p, 1p-9p, & 9p-7a. Sunday & Tues-Thursday: 7a-3p, 2p-10p, & 9p-7a. Friday – Sunday : 7a-7p & 7p-7a. (Will consider 12hr shifts every day if provider prefers). flexible to work days, nights and weekends.

Practice Setting: Acute Care Hospital
Patient Volume: 65 patients per day
Patient Population: All ages
Support Staff: NP/PA coverage Monday-Tuesday 10a-10p and Wednesday-Sunday 10a-9p
Cases/Procedures: 18.3% of patients arrive via EMS, 10% admission rate. Backup specialties include ortho, GI, telenephrology, teleneuro and telepsych
