Locum Opportunity – Emergency Medicine (Ennis & Mexia, TX)

Position Details:

Title: Locum – Physician – Emergency Medicine

Locations: Ennis, TX 75119 and Mexia, TX 76667

Coverage Type: No call

Practice Setting: Outpatient

Start Date: July 8, 2025

End Date: Ongoing

EMR: Medhost

Patients per Shift: 25–30

Additional Information:

24 hours of physician coverage daily (12- and 24-hour shifts available)

24/7 access to X-ray, CT, and ultrasound (on call), with radiologist support

8,000 annual ED volume

7-bed Emergency Department

EMR: Medhost

Physicians trained in Emergency Medicine, Family Practice, or Internal Medicine with emergency department experience are welcome to apply.


Non-ABEM providers will require current ATLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.
We are looking to cover approximately 5–7 shifts per month.

Certification Requirements:

Board Certified or Board Eligible

BLS Certification

Licensure Requirements:

Active Texas medical license -Texas
