Endocrinologist Needed in Virginia – December Start

Job description

We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Endocrinologist for a 6-month locum assignment in Virginia. This is a full-time outpatient role with Monday–Friday clinic hours (8:00am–4:30pm, first patient at 8:20am). Providers will see 18–20 patients per day, with 20-minute follow-ups and 40-minute new patient visits. Call coverage may be required every 3–4 months, but no clinic patients are scheduled during call weeks. Responsibilities include managing Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes (including insulin pumps), treating a wide range of endocrine disorders, conducting follow-ups, supporting patient education, and assisting with monitoring in-baskets. An established patient panel and experienced support staff are in place. Credentialing takes ~120 days.
