CRNA Opportunity – 13-Week Contract – Level 1 Trauma Center – Charlottesville, VA

Schedule:

Weekly availability required (no rotating weeks on/off)

(4) 10-hour shifts per week

(3) 12-hour shifts per week

Weekend availability preferred if doing 3x12s (Sat/Sun)

All time-off requests must be submitted upfront

Practice Setting:

Inpatient & Outpatient GI

Level 1 Trauma Center

600-bed hospital

Coverage includes: 33 ORs (main), 16 offsite anesthesia locations, 12 outpatient surgery ORs, and 3–4 stand-alone GI rooms

Team includes: ~60 CRNAs, ~70 attending anesthesiologists, 60 anesthesia residents

Work Details:

Patient population: Age 13 through end of life

Department focus: GI – GI experience required

Medical direction role

Cases not required: Open heart/thoracic, pediatrics, obstetrics, peripheral nerve blocks

EMR: Epic

Requirements:

Board Certification: CRNA (required)

License: Active Virginia license

DEA: Not required

Certifications: ACLS & BLS (AHA ONLY)

Vaccines: COVID & Flu (no exemptions accepted)

Minimum Experience: 2+ years (prefer academic or Level 1/2 trauma experience, ASA 3+ patients)

Outpatient-only candidates may be considered, but inpatient experience strongly preferred

Experience at a Level 1 Academic Facility is a bonus

Must provide 2 full references or contact information with submittal

Must disclose if provider has worked, trained, or been affiliated with UVA (University of Virginia) in any way

Credentialing Timeframe: Minimum 30 days
