Oncology Nurse Practitioner – Gastroenterology
Location: Portland, Oregon
Start Date: As soon as credentialed ~ 30-60 days
Contract Length: ~19 weeks (4/20/26–9/1/26); potential ongoing need

Schedule

Full‑time, weekday coverage
Shifts: 5 × 8‑hour days
Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Call: No call required
Coverage Type: Scheduled only
40 hours/week
Credentialing timeframe: 30–60 days


Practice Details
Setting: Acute Care Hospital

Oncology / Gastroenterology subspecialty practice
Inpatient + outpatient coordination

EMR: Epic

Patient Population: Adult oncology patients with complex GI and pancreaticobiliary disease


Clinical Scope
Responsibilities include:

Providing subspecialty clinical care for patients with complex gastrointestinal and pancreaticobiliary conditions
Diagnostic evaluation and longitudinal management of oncology GI patients
Procedural coordination and care planning
Multidisciplinary collaboration within a tertiary academic cancer center
Ongoing patient monitoring, documentation, and follow‑up using Epic EMR


Experience

Prior gastroenterology or oncology experience strongly preferred
Comfortable working in an academic medical center environment
Ability to manage complex cases and coordinate multidisciplinary care
