APP Gastro Opportunity in New Mexico - Can start ASAP

Job description

We are seeking a Physician Assistant to join a high-volume Gastroenterology clinic in Lovington, NM.

Schedule
Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Patients typically seen until noon on Fridays
Guaranteed 40 hours per week

Clinical Responsibilities
Clinic-based GI patient care while the physician performs procedures
Conduct workups for:
EGD
Colonoscopy
General GI conditions
Procedures supported at the site include:
EGD
Colonoscopy
Manometry
Bravo
Small Bowel Capsule
Fibroscan

Practice Details
Patient Volume: 20–24 patients per day (high volume, fast paced)
Patient Population: Adults (18+); high Hepatitis C population

Support Staff:
4 GI Physicians
2 Medical Assistants
1 Scheduler

EMR: Epic, Synapse, Dragon Speech

Requirements
Active New Mexico License (Required)
BLS Certification

Experience:
GI experience preferred
Providers without GI experience will be considered
Credentialing Timeframe: 90–120 days

Emergency Privileges Possible
For emergency privileges, provider must already hold:
NM license
PA or NP license
RN license (if applicable)
Board certification
DEA & CSR with NM listed as the state on the address
