Gastro Hospitalist needed in Macon, GA

Hello, this is Alisha, Senior Principal Recruiter at Aya Locums. I'm reaching out today about a new Gastro Hospitalist need in Macon, GA. Candidates with IMLC can be licensed for this opportunity.

Contract Length: 3+ months, ASAP start
Shift Details: 7am-7am (24hr call)working 8 hours weekdays and 4 hours on Sat, Sun
Schedule: Prefers 11 day stretch starting Monday 7am – Friday 7am, 24hr call. Rounding in the morning. It can be 11 days per month and not necessarily in a row. Client is flexible on the schedule and provider’s availability.

Work Details:
Support staff: 1 GI on staff, no APP coverage
· Patients per month: about 35
· Department description: All general GI procedures. ERCP is not required but will consider locums who can do it. Their local GI doc isn't avail all the time to do their ERCPs. The GI Service for nights is the occasional GI bleeder so the workday is rounding and procedures with nights being slow
· Hospital bed size: 310. The GI Service for nights is the occasional GI bleeder so the workday is rounding and procedures with nights being slow.
