Gastroenterologist needed in Decatur, IL

Job description

Gastroenterology:
Inpatient consult service, out patient procedures, call
Schedule is Monday 8a to Monday 8a
Weekday 8a-5p Onsite, PM Call (Paid as flat daily rate plus night call - no gratis for night call)
Weekend 8-12 Onsite, PM call (Paid as 24-hr call with 4 hrs gratis)

Clinical Details:
• Patients per shift: 10-15 per shift (Outpatient scope on select mornings)
• Support staff: 1-2 MD Gastro, 3 APP’s
• Cases/procedures: Upper GI Endo (w/ biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder), PEG, Esophageal dilatation/manometry, small bowel biopsy, colonoscopy (biopsy, excision of polyp) and liver biopsy.
o Not Required: EUS, ERCP, PH Monitoring, Esophageal manometry interpretation and sigmoidoscopy.
• EMR: Cerner/powerchart
No clinic
1 week/month
License Preferred in hand (IMLS potentially considered)

• Ongoing for 3 months
• Scheduled hours + On Call required
• Cases/procedures: Upper GI Endo (w/ biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder), PEG, Esophageal dilatation/manometry, small bowel biopsy, colonoscopy (biopsy, excision of polyp) and liver biopsy.
