Facility in Alton, IL seeking GI Locums coverage Rates: $475-$550/hr Position Highlights High-priority need due to recent turnover. 49-bed community hospital with full GI lab setup and supportive clinical team. Daily work includes procedures, clinic visits, and inpatient rounding. Weekly schedule: 4 days in GI lab (12–13 procedures/day), 1 clinic day (20–25 patients/day). In-house call coverage required during weekdays. On average, 4 admissions during call shifts. Procedures: routine colonoscopies, EGDs, scopes for bleeds, treatment of esophageal bleeds. ERCP experience is a plus but not mandatory. Adult patients only (100%); no pediatric care required. Supported by a full-time GI APP in clinic. Requirements MD or DO Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology Active Illinois State Medical License (required) CSR and DEA licenses (required) ACLS and BLS certifications (required) Minimum 1 year of clinical experience Must be available for a minimum of 2 weeks (10 days) per month
