Facility in Rockport, ME seeking Outpatient GI locums coverage

Rates: $4,000/day
Schedule Availability (Must Cover at Least One Week/Month)
August: 18–22, 25–29
September: 2–5, 15–19, 22–26, 29–Oct 3
October: 6–10, 20–24, 27–31
November: 24–26, 28
December onward through 2026: Flexible coverage
Job Details
Patient Volume: 14–16 patients/day in clinic
Setting: Adult outpatient clinic; some procedures in OR
Primary Role: Endoscopic procedures (lower and upper GI)
Support: Full OR support team including CRNA and anesthesiologist
Clinic: One day per week anticipated
Onsite Services: Lab, X-ray
Procedures Required:
Colonoscopy
Sigmoidoscopy
Diagnostic upper endoscopy
Upper endoscopy with biopsy
Upper endoscopy with foreign body removal
Upper endoscopy with variceal banding
Advanced Procedures: Preferred, not required. Indicate at submission.
Candidate Requirements
Board Certification: ABMS or AOA Certified in Gastroenterology – Required
Licensure: Maine license – Highly Preferred (IMLC candidates considered)
Certifications: ACLS and BLS – Required
Vaccinations: COVID and Flu – Required
Institutional ADR: Requested at time of submission (≥35% for all-gender)
Commitment: Must be available one week per month minimum into 2026
