Gastroenterology Opportunity – Nebraska

Available Dates:
• March 12 – March 24
• May 14 – June 7
• June 25 – July 6

Shift Details:
• 24-hour call coverage
• Typical day begins at 8:30 AM with scheduled colonoscopy/EGD cases
• Average on-site time: 6–8 hours per day
• Callback rate begins after 8 hours
• Rarely called back on-site after completing daily coverage

Work Details:
• Inpatient coverage only (no clinic)
• Screening endoscopy procedures Monday–Friday beginning at 8:00 AM
• Average of 1–2 inpatient consults per day
• Rounding involved (approximately 2 hours daily)
• Approximately 8–10 screening endoscopy procedures scheduled
• Anesthesia support provided (no moderate sedation privileges required)
• ERCP experience strongly preferred but not required; no EUS
• One APP will cover clinic patients during the assignment
• EMR: Epic

Requirements:
• Gastroenterology MD
• Active state license or active IMLC LOQ accepted

Credentialing:
• Approximately 60 days
• Q6 modifier available (temporary privileges)
