About the clinician's workday

The gastroenterologist will provide outpatient gastroenterology coverage with weeknight call from 4:00 PM to 8:00 AM at this on-site facility. Clinical responsibilities include bread and butter GI, inpatient consults, and emergency cases; no advanced procedures are required. The daily census ranges from a low of 5 to a high of 20 patients, and call back volume is expected to be low. Board certification in Gastroenterology is required for consideration.
