Locum Gastroenterologist – Weekday & Weekend Call – Long View, NC

Job description

We're partnering with a hospital near Long View, NC to bring on a Locum Gastroenterologist for a flexible assignment with weekday clinic and beeper call.

Schedule: Onsite Monday–Friday 8a–5p, with weeknight beeper call from 5p–8a. Weekend call is 24‑hour from Friday 5p to Monday 8a, on a 1:3 rotation.

Setting: 100% inpatient gastroenterology coverage.

Skills: Full GI scope including ERCP and EUS, PEG placement, liver biopsy, Blakemore tube management, and colonoscopy. Fellowship training preferred. BLS certification required.

Tech: Athena & Cerner EMR.

Licensing & credentialing: Active North Carolina medical license required. Credentialing is expedited for clean files.

Compensation & travel: Competitive hourly rates with call premiums. Weekend call offers up to six regular hours per day when called in. We provide travel, housing, baggage fees, tolls and parking, plus A++ rated malpractice insurance with tail coverage.

Referral bonus: $500 for referrals who work 30 days.
