Advanced GI needed in OH

Job description

We’re seeking an experienced Board Certified / BE Gastroenterologist for ongoing locums coverage at a Level I Trauma Center with temp privileges available.

👥 Patient Population: Adult

📅 Coverage Dates (2026) (must need) many more available

Apr 6 (7am) – Apr 13 (7am)

May 3 (4pm) – May 11 (7am)

Jun 15 (7am) – Jun 22 (7am)

Full-time coverage preferred; will consider providers able to work 7+ consecutive days/month.

🕒 Schedule

7a–3p onsite

Night beeper call (M–F)

24-hour beeper call on weekends

🏥 Scope of Work

GI coverage for a Level I hospital

Adult patient population

Case volume: TBD

🔑 Required Skills & Procedures

ERCP and EUS are REQUIRED

Documentation required:

ERCP: 150 performed in the past 2 years

Colonoscopy:

100 within past 2 years at initial appointment

150 for reappointment

Additional procedures include (but not limited to):

EGD (diagnostic & therapeutic)

Esophageal/duodenal/luminal stent placement

Argon plasma coagulation

Non-variceal hemostasis (upper & lower)

PEG placement

Esophageal dilation (balloon/bougie/savary)

Flexible sigmoidoscopy

Foreign body removal

GI motility & 24-hr pH studies

✅ Requirements

Board Certified or truly Board Eligible – Gastroenterology

OH license (IMLC preferred; open to licensing)

DEA

ACLS

Moderate Sedation competency (training + post-test ≥80%)

Minimum 1 year experience

Temp privileges available
