Gastroenterologist (ERCP) Needed in Springfield, OR | Inpatient Only | 4 Openings | Licensure Flexible

Job description

Start: ASAP (as soon as credentialed — listed start November 2, 2026)
Length: 26 weeks — current approval through April 1, 2027 (open to extension)
Coverage: Inpatient GI — rounding, new consults, and procedures
Schedule: 10-hour shifts, 07:00–17:00, plus call as scheduled (schedule to be finalized). Day and night.
Call: Scheduled call with night call required
Volume: Approximately 10 patients per day; average daily census 10
Patient Population: Adults
Practice Setting: Acute care hospital, Level II/III/IV trauma — hospital privileges only, inpatient setting
Support: Provider will be the only inpatient GI physician, with access to specialty consultants as needed and the ability to connect with outpatient GI colleagues for workflow questions
ERCP and inpatient GI procedures
Inpatient rounding and new consults
Timely documentation in Epic

Requirements
Board Certified in Gastroenterology
Minimum 2 years of experience
ACLS required
Active ERCP practice — documentation of GI services representative of the scope and complexity of privileges within the previous 24 months (training log accepted if training was completed within the past year)
Oregon license required — open to licensure depending on start date
Epic charting required
