Job description
A full-service hospital in Pennsylvania is seeking a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist for 24-hour call coverage starting August 13, 2025. This is a short-term locum role with strong support and expedited credentialing for the right candidate.
✅ Position Highlights
Short-Term Contract with Flexible Start
Coverage needed for specific dates: August 13–14, 20–24, and 27–28. The initial contract is for 3 months. Emergency credentialing can be completed in one week or less with a clean file.
Strong Clinical Support at a 219-Bed Hospital
You'll have access to a full hospital support team including RN, NP, 24-hour anesthesia, and specialty backup. EMR system is Cerner, with an average of 12 inpatient cases per day.
ERCP/EUS Preferred but Not Required
Procedures are only needed in emergent situations. Advanced procedures like ERCP and EUS are preferred but not required for this role.

📄 Requirements
Board Certified in Gastroenterology
Active PA License + DEA
Certifications: BLS, ACLS required
