Locum Tenens Gastroenterologist needed in Pennsylvania

Contract Length: Ongoing through 2025 (with scheduled blocks)
Coverage Type: Inpatient, Outpatient, Ambulatory, Call

Assignment Details

Dates Needed:

Nov 24 (7a) – Nov 29 (7a)

Dec 23 (5p) – Jan 5 (7a)

Coverage: 7 days/month, including weekends, day & night call

Schedule:

Call blocks: 7a Mon–7a Mon or 7a Fri–7a Fri

Onsite: Mon–Thurs, 8a–5p; Fri, 8a–12p (clinic)

Procedures: Mon–Thurs, 7:30a–3:30p; Fri, 7:30a–1p

Workload: Mix of inpatient rounding, consults, scoping, outpatient visits, and follow-up care

Procedures: No ERCP or EUS required

Support Staff: Medical Director, Office Supervisor, LPNs, MOAs, Surgery Schedulers

EMR: Epic (Endo documentation via Lumens)

Requirements

Board Certified in Gastroenterology

Active Pennsylvania license (IMLC not accepted)

DEA (PA), BLS, ACLS

Must pass Pennsylvania background clearances (criminal record, child abuse, FBI)

Privileging: 60–90 days
