Aya Locums is seeking a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist for a locums assignment at a top facility in South Carolina. This is a 100% inpatient opportunity with a supportive team, a manageable caseload, and full travel coverage.

Assignment Details:
• Dates: November 24 – December 1
• Setting: 100% inpatient
• Shift Type: 24-hour call coverage
• Patient Load: ~16 patients/day (includes 6 consults)
• Team Structure: 4-physician group with APP support on weekdays; solo coverage on nights/weekends
• EMR: EPIC

Procedures Required:
• Colonoscopy
• Liver Biopsy
• Esophageal Dilatation/Manometry & Interpretation
• Lower GI Endoscopy & Sigmoidoscopy
• Upper GI Endoscopy (Diagnostic & Therapeutic):
o With Biopsy
o With Foreign Body Removal
o With Fulguration of Bleeder (Cautery vs. Laser)
o With Injection/Banding of Varices
o With ERCP (preferred, not required)
o With PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy)
