Location: City in Ohio, 30 minutes to Dayton! Facility: Full-service hospital, offering complete care including 24/7 emergency services, maternity services, critical and intensive care, surgery and pediatric care — all provided by skilled doctors and highly trained health professionals. Opportunity: 24 hours 7am-7am. Requires 7 consecutive days in a row + 3 days 8am-5pm. Total of 10 days a month. June - rest of the year, potential to move into 2025 Clinical Areas: Adult, Hospital, Gastro Onsite Labs & X-Ray Outpatient setting is at the hospital, outpatient scopes Monday through Friday with outpatient scopes starting at 9 to allow for on call cases to be completed prior (7-9). This can be adjusted, if need be, to allow more or less time for add ons. Outpatient scopes average 7-9 per day along with inpatient rounding. Inpatient referrals daily during call coverage. Average of 4-5 new consults per day while on call. Average Number of Office/Clinic Patients Per Locum Per Day: Procedural scope per day 1-8 Average Number of Patients Per Day: 1-15 Documentation System/EMR: EPIC Jobs Duties/Requirements: Small Bowel Biopsy Lower GI Endoscopy Sigmoidoscopy Colonoscopy GI Endoscopy with Biopsy, with Foreign Body Removal, with Fulguration of Bleeder (Cautery vs. Laser), Diagnostic, Therapeutic, with Injection of Varices, with Banding of Varices, with PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy) Compensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
