Locum Tenens Gastroenterologist needed in Tennessee

Start Date: November 3, 2025
Contract Length: Ongoing
Schedule: 24-hour on-call coverage, 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM next day

Coverage Details:

Full 24-hour call per shift

Providers will float between two sister facilities

Days of the week: Flexible, based on call schedule

Highlights:

24-Hour On-Call Coverage: Provide comprehensive GI coverage including bleeds, abdominal pain, food bolus, and elevated liver enzymes at a Level 3 trauma center.

Hands-On Practice: Work in both endoscopy suites and main OR, managing approximately 8 patients per day.

Procedural Expertise Required: ERCP experience is mandatory; independent practice expected with minimal support.

Requirements:

Board Certified in Gastroenterology

TN State License required (No IMLC)

ERCP certified

BLS required

DEA registration required

Vaccine exemptions accepted with proper documentation

Clean background required

Privileging timeframe: 90 days
