Locum Tenens Gastroenterology Opportunity – Tennessee

Job description

We are seeking Board-Certified Gastroenterologists to provide 24-hour call coverage at two sister facilities in Tennessee. This is a Level 3 Trauma Center setting with a consistent schedule of week-long assignments available throughout 2025.

Opportunity Highlights:

Schedule: 24-hour call shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM, 7-day blocks)

Patient Volume: ~8 patients per day

Case Types: GI bleeds, abdominal pain, food bolus, elevated liver enzymes, etc.

Work Setting: Endoscopy suite & main OR

Support Staff: None – provider is primary coverage

Requirements:

Board Certification: Gastroenterology (Required)

Licensure: Active Tennessee license

Certifications: BLS

DEA: Required

Other: Clean background, 90-day privileging timeframe
