Gastroenterologist Needed in Seguin, TX | Full-Scope Including ERCP | 3-4 Clinic Days/Week | Licensure Flexible

Job description

Start: ASAP (as soon as credentialed)
Length: 3-6 months, with option to extend
Coverage: Outpatient GI clinic with hospital procedures and call
Schedule: Clinic 3-4 days per week, 8-hour shifts, 07:00-17:00; flexible on which days
Call: Evening/overnight call following the clinic shift. Non-restricted call - must be within 30 minutes of the facility.
Volume: 10-15 procedures per day
Patient Population: Adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
Practice Setting: Acute care hospital plus outpatient clinic
Support: Front office staff and a medical assistant in clinic

Full-scope gastroenterology, including ERCP, EGD, colonoscopy, and flexible sigmoidoscopy (full scope less EUS). Outpatient evaluations, treatment planning, and follow-up. Timely documentation in Athena One (clinic) and Meditech Expanse (hospital).

Requirements: Board Certified in Gastroenterology. Minimum 1 year of experience. Texas license required - IMLC accepted; open to licensure. ACLS required. Credentialing: temporary privileges within 2 weeks for a clean file, otherwise 90 days.
