Gastroenterologist Needed in Richmond, VA | Weekend GI Call | ERCP a Plus | PRN

Job description

This is a PRN, weekend-only gastroenterology call opportunity at an acute care hospital in Richmond, Virginia. Coverage runs Friday at 5:00p through Monday at 7:00a, with 24-hour call each day. The facility asks for a minimum of 6 hours on site per day, typically starting at 7:00a. The assignment begins in late September 2026 and runs approximately 13 weeks, with the option to extend.

The physician provides GI hospital call, covering GI emergencies including ERCP procedures as needed, along with EUS cases. The client is also open to a general gastroenterologist who does not perform ERCP, which widens the fit for this role. No additional support staff is needed.

Candidates should be Board Certified, with an active state license required at the time of submission. COVID-19 vaccination is required (medical or religious exemptions only).
