Locum Tenens Gastroenterologist – Inpatient/Outpatient - Eastern WA

Job description

A well-established facility in Spokane, WA is seeking a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist for a Gastro Hospitalist-type role. This is a long-term locum tenens assignment providing scheduled clinical hours only — no nights or weekends. We're looking for a provider to join the team full-time or in a 2-week-on/2-week-off rotation alongside another locum.

Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Only

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Call: None

Start Date: 08/25/2025

Duration: Ongoing until a permanent provider is hired


Practice Setting:
Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient

Support Staff: Fully staffed team to assist with procedures and patient management

Procedures Required:

Upper GI endoscopy

Esophageal dilatation/manometry & interpretation

Small bowel biopsy

Lower GI endoscopy

Sigmoidoscopy

Colonoscopy


License: Active WA medical license or IMLC eligible

Fellowship: Preferred

Certifications: ACLS, BLS

Minimum Commitment: 2 weeks/month (if sharing with another provider) or full-time
