Gastroenterologist Needed in Bellingham, WA | Day Shift | No Weekends Except Call | Licensure Flexible

Job description

Start: ASAP (as soon as credentialed)
Length: 13 weeks - requisition approved through February 21, 2027 (open to extension)
Coverage: Outpatient GI clinic with hospital rounding, admissions, and procedures
Schedule: Day shift, no weekends except when on call
Call: Call requirement of 14 hospital shifts per month. 24-hour call with clinic assistance in the morning. Call includes 4 hours gratis.
Volume: Approximately 4 patients per day in the morning when on call, Monday-Friday
Practice Setting: Outpatient clinic and hospital, 253 beds - both hospital and clinic privileges needed
Support: Working with other GIs as part of the practice

Inpatient rounding and admissions. Gastroenterology procedures. Outpatient evaluations, treatment planning, and follow-up. Timely documentation in Epic.

Requirements: Board Certified in Gastroenterology. Minimum 1 year of experience. Epic charting experience required. Washington license required - open to licensure (candidates without an active license who will obtain one prior to start will be reviewed).
