Job description

This is a gastroenterology hospitalist-type opportunity in Spokane, Washington, floating between two facilities and backfilling a retirement on an ongoing basis until a permanent provider is hired - with potential to be considered for the permanent position if a good fit. The schedule is weekday coverage, Monday-Friday 8:00a-5:00p, with no nights or weekends. The minimum availability ask is two weeks per month if two providers work a two-on/two-off rotation, though a full-time provider is also welcome and may perform outpatient procedures. The assignment runs approximately 13 weeks, credentialing runs approximately 90 days, and travel reimbursement is available.

The setting spans inpatient and outpatient, with about five patients per shift. Documentation is in Epic.

Candidates should be Board Certified in Gastroenterology, with a completed GI fellowship, a Washington license or IMLC, a DEA, and BLS and ACLS.
