Job Description:
• Internal Med, Gastroenterology Physician Needed in Wisconsin
• September 2nd start ongoing coverage
• Scheduled Clinic Hours Plus Call
• Cerner EMR
• Outpatient and Inpatient setting
• 13-14 Patients per shift
• Does Provider require hospital/surgery center privileges?: Yes
• Board certified or eligible but doesn't need to be in specialty
• No license requirement to bid
• 60 day credentialing
• ACLS and BLS required
• Trauma level 2 facility
• support staff - 3 RN, 4 MA, 8 APP's
• Provider required to supervise APP's
Required procedures
• Upper GI endoscopy
o with biopsy
o with foreign body removal
o with fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs. laser)
o With injection of varices
o ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography)
 Diagnostic
 Therapeutic
o With PEG (percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy)
• Esophageal dilatation/manometry
• Esophageal manometry interpretation
• Small Bowel biopsy
• Lower GI endoscopy
• Colonoscopy
o with biopsy
o with excision of polyp

Additional Information

In need of inpatient locum coverage on the following dates: Sept. 2 at 8A -Sept. 9 at 8A Sept. 16 at 8A -Sept. 30 at 8A Oct. 7 at 8A-Oct. 14 at 8A Oct. 21 at 8A-Oct. 28 at 8A Nov. 14 at 8A – Nov. 27 at 8A Dec. 16 at 8A – Jan. 5 at 8A Hours are 8am-5pm with week night and weekend call. ERCP required and EUS preferred.
