Job description

Job Posting: Med/Surg ICU Nurse Practitioner

Start Date: October 5, 2024
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift Details: 3 rotating 12-hour shifts per week
Schedule: Full-time position, rotating shifts, including weekends

Work Details
Support Staff:
Lead APRNs
APRN Director
Patients per Day: 6-10 patients
Patient Population/Age: Providing care to infants, children, and families for the management of critical illnesses.
EMR System: Cerner
Hospital Bed Size: 46 beds

Skills Required:
Solid medical knowledge base for critical care medicine
Strong critical thinking and adaptability
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively with medical and surgical colleagues, staff, and trainees

Practice Setting
Type: Hospital

Requirements
Board Certification in Pediatric and/or Critical Care
Massachusetts State License

Certifications Required:
BLS (Basic Life Support)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
DEA Registration
Minimum Experience Required: 2 years of critical care experience

• Scheduled + No Call
