Facility in Coos Bay, OR seeking First Assist APP locums coverage Rates: $160/hr Position Highlights: Start Date: As soon as credentialed Setting: Inpatient hospital-based surgical services Schedule: Full-time; choose from 4x10s or 5x8s (Sunday–Saturday workweek) Assignments may include: Orthopedics, General Surgery, Urology, or ENT No supervision required; works collaboratively with surgical team Responsibilities: Assist in surgical procedures and perform bedside procedures within scope Pre/post-operative patient care, clinic coverage as needed Assist with OR setup and turnover Maintain sterile technique, documentation, and interdepartmental communication Participate in ongoing professional education Work with OR team and support patient safety and satisfaction Requirements: Certification: Board Certified PA Experience: Minimum 2 years of PA work experience (excluding training) Licensure: Oregon license (highly preferred) Certifications: Must include ACLS/BLS CAQH profile: Required at time of offer EPIC: 4 hours of unpaid training (testing out allowed) About The Facility: 127-bed, Level III trauma hospital Advanced surgical, oncology, and cardiovascular programs Accredited by The Joint Commission Epic EMR system
