Facility in York, PA seeking General Surgery NP locums coverage Rates: $140/hr Assignment Details Start Date: May 1, 2025 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7am–3pm Shifts/Month: Up to 20 shifts; minimum 2 weeks/month required Call: Yes – Beeper call with 30-minute response time EMR: Epic Role Responsibilities Floor Management: Daily patient rounds Writing progress notes, placing orders Discharges and care coordination Dressing changes, drain/NGT removal Consults & Admissions: ER consults and admissions Comprehensive evaluation and operative planning Documentation and order entry First Assist – OR Cases: Assisting in open, laparoscopic, and robotic general surgery cases Pre- and post-operative care coordination Requirements Board Certified NP or PA – Required 2+ years of General Surgery experience – Required Pennsylvania License & DEA – Required BLS/CPR – Required Experience as first assist in surgery – Required Local candidates preferred, travel considered for exceptional candidates
