General Surgeon – Locum Tenens – Arkansas

Job description

A community-based hospital in Arkansas is seeking a board-certified General Surgeon for an ongoing locum assignment starting September 1, 2025.

Details:
• 4 days/week, 8 am – 4 pm
• Mix of clinic and OR block time
• Includes night call and call-backs
• Trauma Level IV facility, Cerner EMR
• Procedures: appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernioplasty, Nissen fundoplication, GI endoscopy, central line and chest tube insertion
• Credentialing in 30 days with emergency temporary privileges

Requirements:
• Board Certification in General Surgery
• Active AR license or IMLC eligibility
• ACLS and BLS
