Job description

Start Date: September 1, 2025 | End Date: Ongoing

Highlights
Scheduled clinical hours (8am–4pm, 4 days/week) combined with OR block time and night call plus call-back coverage.

Wide range of procedural skills required: Appendectomy, Cholecystectomy, Hernioplasty, Nissen Fundoplication, GI endoscopy, chest tube and central line insertion.

Practice setting includes both inpatient and outpatient care with Cerner EMR in a Level 4 trauma center.

Schedule: 8am – 4pm, 4 days per week, combination of clinic and OR block time

Trauma Level: 4

Provider Needed: 1

Practice Setting: Inpatient and outpatient care

Requirements
Board Certification in General Surgery (required)

Active Arkansas medical license (required)

Fellowship training preferred

Current ACLS and BLS certifications required

Credentialing timeframe: 30 days (temporary privileges available)
