General Surgeon needed in CA!

Job description

-Start Date: 11/3/25
-Contract Length: 6mo +
-Shift Details:
-24-hour call including 6-8 hours of onsite coverage. On site coverage will be at UCSF St Francis and call will be for both UCSF St Francis and UCSF St Mary (3 mi apart)
-Schedule:
-Holiday coverage needed
-Call requirements: provider will do 24-hour call and on site coverage in the mornings. Providers generally receive 1-2 calls per day.
-Work Details:
• Amount of coverage needed per month: 5 shifts/mo, may increase to 15/mo in January 2026
• Patients per day: 4-5/day for rounding
• Patient population/age: adults
• EMR: epic
-Practice Setting: Hospital
-Requirements:
• Board Certification: Board cert in surgery required
• License required: CA license required
• DEA: CA DEA required
• Minimum experience required:
-Must have at least 2 years experience
-Da Vinci Robot experience strongly preferred
