General Surgeon needed in Georgia

Job description

Coverage Type: 24hr call
• Second or third week of August (7 consecutive days, including a full weekend)
• Sept 2 – Sept 8
If none of these possible, would still look for 7 days coverage in August and September (will have need going into future too)

Work Details:
• Practice Setting: Operating Room
• EMR/Charting Software: EPIC
• Avg. Daily Census: about 1 surgery per day
• Patient Age Group: adults
Beds: 139 bed hospital
• Procedures: 1 surgery per day on average and rounding/consulting for inpatients daily. Hospital is a Level 3 trauma center and does not necessarily need a trauma surgeon, but someone who can respond to level 3 trauma needs.
Requirements:
• Board Certifications Req’d/Preferred: BC General Surgery
• State License(s): GA
• Certifications: BLS/ACLS
• • DEA Req’d?: Yes
• Years of Experience Req’d: 1 year minimum
Credentialing Timeframe: temps allowed --usually takes 90-120 days
Willing To License?: IMLC only wtih LOQ in hand

• Ongoing dates
