Job description
Position Highlights:
$2,000/day
Small, 25-bed rural facility serving a close-knit community (~10k population)
15–18 days/month – Clinic M/W/F, Surgery Days TBD
Weekend call coverage with low volume (~20 cases/month)
Bread & butter General Surgery (laparoscopic procedures, hernias, gallbladders, C-sections, vasectomies, etc.)
Shared clinic space with OB team
2 dedicated OR nurses per surgeon
On-call for ER when covering shifts
No major trauma or ortho cases; high-acuity patients transferred
Additional Info:
Day surgeries performed in a dedicated Day Case Unit
Supportive and collegial surgical and nursing team
Peaceful community with stunning high-desert views
